Kent Shelley is a husband and father. His vocational spectrum includes serving as a Youth Worker, Teacher, Minister, Long Haul Truck Driver, Hospital Chaplain, and Counsellor. His own journey has afforded him plenty of opportunities to experience most of the joys, stresses, and emotional and practical challenges of personal relationships, parenting children, teens and adult children, job losses, vocational transitions and the loss of loved ones. He understands the necessity of support, perspective, and hope.
Kent’s Master’s degree in Youth Work and Counselling at Cincinnati Christian University, certification in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy through the William Glasser Institute, and certification with the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists enhance his 35 years of counselling experience so he is able to provide hope and insight for his clients.
